What Is a Private Key JSON File?
English
JSON file is an acronym for JavaScript Object Notation file.
It is an open standard type of file widely used in computing.
On blockchains, Private Key JSON files contain the information of your private and public keys.
They are usually encrypted with a password you select when creating them.
On Emerald, you can create a wallet using your JSON file as the source of your address. In that case the key in JSON file is added to the Emerald Vault and reencrypted with its own key.
